Lake Tahoe Events You Won’t Want to Miss: August–October 2026

Late summer and early fall are some of the best times to experience Lake Tahoe—and the next eight weeks are packed with concerts, festivals, theater, food, and cultural events.

Let us handle the driving. You enjoy Tahoe.

Whether you’re visiting Tahoe for a weekend getaway or you're a local looking for something fun to do, there’s plenty on the calendar. And when your plans include cocktails, wine, dinner, or a concert, let Lake Tahoe Celebrity Transportation handle the driving.

Here are some of the events we’re looking forward to over the next eight weeks.

Theater & Culture

Lake Tahoe Shakespeare Festival

Through August 23 | Sand Harbor State Park

There are only a few performances left of the 54th annual Lake Tahoe Shakespeare Festival, making this the perfect time for a memorable evening at Sand Harbor.

This year's season features Macbeth and The Heart of Robin Hood, performed outdoors against the spectacular backdrop of Lake Tahoe. Performances take place under the stars, with the lake and Sierra Nevada providing a setting that is almost as impressive as the theater itself.

If you're attending one of the final performances, consider making the evening an experience from start to finish—with dinner, the show, and a comfortable ride home.

Reno Jazz Orchestra: A Tribute to George Benson

August 24 | Incline Village

Jazz fans can enjoy an evening celebrating the music of legendary guitarist and vocalist George Benson. It's a great excuse to head to the North Shore for an evening of live music.

And because Incline Village and South Lake Tahoe aren't exactly a quick walk from one another, having a professional driver means you can enjoy the evening without worrying about the road home.

Concerts & Live Music

The Red Clay Strays with Dylan Gossett

September 4 | Lake Tahoe Amphitheatre at Caesars Republic, Stateline

Country, Southern rock, blues, and Americana fans have a big night ahead.

The Red Clay Strays bring their Grateful Tour to Stateline on September 4, with Dylan Gossett and Sweet Talk joining them. The show starts at 6:30 p.m. and is part of the Lake Tahoe Summer Concert Series.

It's also the beginning of Labor Day weekend, so expect plenty of activity around the South Shore.

Jack Johnson

September 6 | Lake Tahoe Amphitheatre at Caesars Republic

Jack Johnson's laid-back acoustic sound feels pretty much made for Lake Tahoe.

His Surfilmusic Tour, with special guest G. Love, arrives at the outdoor amphitheater on Sunday, September 6. The show is currently listed as sold out, so if you already have tickets, you've got a good night ahead of you.

Zach Top

September 11 & 12 | Lake Tahoe Amphitheatre at Caesars Republic

Country music takes center stage again when Zach Top brings his Cold Beer & Country Music Tour to Stateline for two nights.

Top has built a following with a sound inspired by classic '80s and '90s country, complete with plenty of steel guitar, fiddle, and traditional country storytelling.

Bailey Zimmerman

September 19 | Lake Tahoe Amphitheatre at Caesars Republic

Another big country night is coming to Stateline on September 19 when Bailey Zimmerman takes the stage at 7 p.m.

If you're making a full evening of it, plan ahead for transportation. Concert nights can mean crowded parking lots, long waits for rideshares, and increased traffic around Stateline.

Festivals & Fall Favorites

Tahoe Brewfest

August 29 | Ski Run Boulevard, South Lake Tahoe

The 9th annual Tahoe Brewfest takes over Ski Run Boulevard on Saturday, August 29.

With 40+ breweries and beverage makers, live music, food vendors, local crafts, and unlimited tastings, it's one of Tahoe's signature end-of-summer celebrations. The event also benefits the Boys & Girls Club of Lake Tahoe.

And here's an obvious reason to arrange transportation in advance: if you're drinking, don't drive.

Leave your vehicle at the hotel or vacation rental and let a professional driver get you there and back safely.

Heavenly Village Midway Art & Music Festival

September 4–6 | Heavenly Village

Labor Day weekend brings the annual Midway Art & Music Festival to Heavenly Village, with live music, art, a classic car show, carnival rides, and fireworks.

It's a great option if you're looking for something that the whole group can enjoy.

Fall Ale Fest & Chicken Wing Festival

September 12 | Heavenly Village

Beer lovers and foodies won't want to miss this celebration of fall flavors, featuring craft beer and plenty of chicken wings in the heart of Heavenly Village.

Sample the Sierra

September 19 | Bijou Community Park

One of South Lake Tahoe's favorite fall traditions, Sample the Sierra celebrates the region's farmers, ranchers, winemakers, brewers, chefs, artists, and makers.

It's a great way to taste your way through the Sierra while supporting local producers.

Oktoberfest at Camp Richardson

October 3–4 | Camp Richardson Resort

Bring on the lederhosen!

Camp Richardson's annual Oktoberfest returns October 3 and 4 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. This family-friendly celebration features German music, food, craft beer and wine, vendors, games, contests, and activities for kids. Admission is free.

And yes—there's a beer garden. So if you're planning to enjoy a few Bavarian brews, make transportation part of the plan before you arrive.

More October Music

The entertainment doesn't stop when summer does.

Steel Pulse

October 2 | Harrah's Lake Tahoe

Reggae legends Steel Pulse bring their Reggae Against Racism tour to the South Shore Room at Harrah's Lake Tahoe on October 2.

Get The Led Out

October 6 | Harrah's Lake Tahoe

Led Zeppelin fans can catch Get The Led Out, a tribute dedicated to recreating the sound of the legendary band's classic recordings, on October 6.

Rumours of Fleetwood Mac

October 10 | Harrah's Lake Tahoe

On October 10, it's all about Fleetwood Mac when Rumours of Fleetwood Mac takes over the South Shore Room.

The tribute band performs the iconic Rumours album in its entirety and has even been endorsed by Fleetwood Mac founding member Mick Fleetwood.

Make the Night About the Experience—Not the Drive

Lake Tahoe events are meant to be enjoyed—not spent searching for parking, waiting for a rideshare, or worrying about who's going to be the designated driver.

Whether you're heading to a concert in Stateline, dinner and theater at Sand Harbor, Oktoberfest at Camp Richardson, or a night out with friends, Lake Tahoe Celebrity Transportation can get your group there comfortably and safely.

We provide professional transportation throughout the Lake Tahoe and Reno areas, including concert transportation, airport transfers, dinner outings, special events, corporate transportation, and nights on the town. Please note that, due to Nevada and California transportation regulations, we cannot cross the state line during a single trip. Our professional drivers are happy to coordinate your transportation within either state, helping make your Tahoe experience comfortable, convenient, and stress-free.

Planning to attend one of these events? Book your transportation early. Popular concert and festival weekends can fill up quickly, especially around Labor Day and major shows.

Let us handle the driving. You enjoy Tahoe.
